What is Forever Here?

Forever Here is a free* online memorial service where loved ones can view pictures and leave words of encouragement, post stories about the loved one, and more.

Forever Here began as an idea, or high-level concept, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, many funeral services were either cancelled or severly limited to the number of guests. The idea behind Forever Here is to essentially create an online memorial to help replace those memories of viewing pictures and sharing stories that would normally take place during funeral services.

How it Works

Create Account

A friend or family member starts an account and sets up a memorial page with basic information such as the name of the loved one. The person creating the account will be the "owner" of the memorial page. Ownership can trasfer later, if needed.

Update Memorial

The memorial page owner begins to upload their favorite pictures of their loved one. The page owner can also add in more details about the loved one they wish to share. Finally, they create the very first post on the memorial. This first post is generally the obituary.

Invite Others

When a new memorial page is created, a unique URL is created to view the memorial page. This URL can be shared with other friends and family so they can view the pictures, stories, and more. Invitees may also create their own free account and leave stories of their own about the loved one.

Get Started with Your Own Page

Forever Here is always free to create a memorial page and to get started. Explore the different plans to increase the number of pictures you can add and features available for you to use.

To create an account and setup an online memorial is free to start. However, a free account has limited features such as the number of images that can be uploaded and the number of people able to leave stories.
